Greased Rascal

For those of you who have a near and dear place in your heart for the exuberant speed and summertime fun-ness of the Rascal….here is the new stepchild with nitrous oxide boosters added. Slide into waves earlier, zip through the crumble-flats and nail a nice feathery little lip over and over….without having to think too hard to smile it up. Ride four to five inches shorter and 3/4″ – 1″ wider than standard shorty.

This is basically a more beachbreak- friendly version of the Rascal II. I have used the rocker and bottom contours from the Greased Pig (which is slightly more overall than that of the Rascal II) and synthesized them with a sleeker Rascal outline. The nose and tail are pulled in more and the tail block is quite a bit narrower making for quicker tighter response in the critical areas of the wave. This board has proven to be the favorite board in the quiver for many surfers; making it a very popular “all-around” board.
